Family lies at the core of the Good Shark. Everything we do prioritizes the family experience. While the definition of family varies from human to human, one common thread remains - Commitment. 

At the Good Shark, we are committed to the preservation of family, community, and the planet. 

Hi, I’m Chris Charlton, and I’d like to officially welcome you to the Good Shark. We are a lifestyle clothing company based in southeastern Massachusetts.

The Good Shark began literally as a day dream - a way for me to inject passion and creativity back into my life. My job was consuming my time, my sons rarely saw me. I felt lost, disconnected, and cut off from the people I loved the most. Infatuated with the power of the shark, I searched for a vehicle to express my appreciation for these extraordinary creatures in a way that could include my family.

The Good Shark has united our family. My wife spearheads brand development; my boys are diligent product testers and models. My hope is that as the Good Shark grows, so does our familial involvement.  

“What does it mean to be a Good Shark?” Sharks are revered for their ferocity and strength, appreciated for their leadership atop the food chain, and admired for their sleek and striking appearance. These traits manifest in our clothing: Unisex Activewear that’s breathable and agile, Graphic tees that catch the eye, Quarter Zips and Polos fit for the boardroom or the golf course, stylish hoodies and tees for girls and boys, even onesies for the littlest shark enthusiasts.

As we enter this new venture, we do so with a simple mission: Lead the Current. Sharks never stop moving forward. I have never stopped moving forward - in my businesses, relationships, and now with the Good Shark. When we say Lead the Current, we encourage our customers to make a difference by doing good and leaving all “ecosystems” better than we found them. This could be as simple as encouraging children to do their best and try new things or as complex as organizing a clean-up at a park or beach. However, you can positively impact your personal ecosystem.

Our first initiative will be to partner with a fantastic organization that helps preserve shark populations while educating us on the importance of these creatures. We have many ideas for future partnerships and projects that we hope will positively affect our communities, so stay tuned.
